Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, assigned equipment, and common zones while adhering to environmental hygiene and infection prevention principles. Operate and maintain EVS tools safely, manage waste streams including regulated medical and hazardous materials, and ensure proper PPE usage. Organize cleaning carts and supplies, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and uphold patient privacy standards. Work the 2nd shift (6pm–10:30pm) as a part-time role with bi-weekly pay starting at $18.00.
Required Qualifications
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Knowledge of environmental cleaning and infection prevention principles
- Safe and proper use of chemicals
- Safe handling of equipment and labor-saving products
- Adherence to organizational safety, risk management, and infection control guidelines
- Knowledge of patient privacy requirements (HIPAA)
- Critical thinking skills
- Personal accountability
- Knowledge of facility safety requirements
- Ability to operate and maintain EVS tools and equipment
- Ability to perform special tasks as needed
- Part-time availability
- 2nd Shift availability (6:pm - 10:30pm)
