Job Summary
Conduct artificial insemination, assist in farrowing, treat animals, and perform castration and tail docking of piglets. Perform high-pressure facility washing, maintain activity and treatment records, move adult animals, and manually feed livestock. Work 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. across various farms in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec, handling extreme seasonal weather. Requires a university degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related field, plus a valid Mexican passport and driver's license. Hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 CAD with housing and transportation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- TN work visa for Canada
- Mexican nationality
- University degree and professional license in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year
- Valid Mexican driver's license
- Excellent physical condition for demanding work between 8 to 12 hours a day
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- A good level of English is required for this position
