Administer medications per medical prescription, monitor vital signs, perform venipuncture, and apply simple dressings to patients. Document nursing notes in patient charts and assist mothers with breastfeeding and kangaroo care methods. Provide bedside hygiene, reposition bedridden patients, and implement patient safety barriers as directed by nursing staff. Escort patients to the recovery unit and offer post-operative care instructions. Maintain compliance with institutional protocols. Requires active COREN registration; additional courses in breastfeeding or kangaroo method preferred.
