Conduct individualized, hierarchical, and continuous nursing care for hospitalized patients, performing tasks such as hygiene, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring while adhering to safety protocols and the Six International Patient Safety Goals. Assist physicians and nurses with procedures including venipunctures and intubations, manage emergency equipment like the crash cart, and monitor patient balance for fluid control. Prepare patients for surgeries and exams per medical prescriptions, maintain patient records, and assume duties in the absence of the registered nurse. Present to patients at the start of each shift with all necessary information to ensure care continuity.
