Job Summary
Senior Consultant in Deloitte Technology & Transformation — Engineering (ETL Testing). Design, develop and deploy automated test frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines; validate source-to-target data reconciliation, transformation logic, and business rules; develop automated test scripts for data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and integrity checks; perform database, file, and API level testing; create reusable automation components; execute regression, integration, and system testing for data pipelines; integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines; prepare test plans, test cases, defect reports, and execution summaries; coordinate with process owners and business to understand as-is processes and design automation workflows; maintain documentation and support UAT and production phases. Technical skills include ETL concepts, data warehousing, UNIX, Python/PyTest/Robot Framework/TestNG, advanced SQL, Databricks/Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery/Synapse, Informatica/Ab Initio/Talend/DataStage/DBT, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), data formats (Parquet/Avro/JSON/CSV/XML); bonus tools Great Expectations, Deequ, Soda, Monte Carlo.
