Job Summary
Senior Consultant in Technology & Transformation practice focusing on AI & Data with Cypress/Playwright automation expertise. Build and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, perform manual + automation testing, craft test scenarios and cases, execute tests, report defects clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables. Requires 6+ years of Cypress/Playwright experience, strong testing framework knowledge, version control and CI/CD familiarity, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of Cypress / Playwright Testing experience
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on Cypress / Playwright automation
- Knowledge of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest)
- Familiarity with Git
- Basic CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Defect tracking with JIRA
- Experience designing/maintaining automated tests with Selenium and Playwright
- Manual + automation testing for web apps
- Create test scenarios and test cases
- Execute tests and document defects
- Collaboration with developers, BAs, stakeholders
- Regression, smoke, sanity testing
- Identify automation opportunities and improve coverage
Desired Qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in Cypress / Playwright Testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Cypress / Playwright automation framework (minimum 3+ years)
- Knowledge of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Defect tracking and reporting (JIRA or similar tools)
