Job Summary
Provide K-12 student technology instruction and ensure educational technology at the school is operational and well-managed. Allocate approximately 90% of time to teaching classes using ISTE Standards, focusing on creating digitally literate learners for STEM careers, while managing the Clever Student Portal and Chrome settings. Dedicate the remaining 10% to building-wide technology administration, including hardware deployment, network infrastructure troubleshooting, and acting as the State Testing Technology Coordinator or Lead NWEA MAP Testing Proctor.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements
- Knowledge and experience in education technologies
- Experience teaching K-8 technology classes
- Experience using ISTE Standards
- Experience managing technology and troubleshooting
- Ability to allocate approximately 90% of the time to student technology instruction
- Ability to allocate approximately 10% of the time to building-wide technology administration and support
- Ability to manage the deployment and life-cycle of NHA-provided hardware
- Ability to perform intermittent troubleshooting to the hardware and network infrastructure
- Ability to manage the school's Clever Student Portal
- Ability to customize online access for students by managing Chrome settings via the Google Admin Console
- Ability to act as the State Testing Technology Coordinator
- Ability to act as the Lead NWEA MAP Testing Proctor
