Job Summary
Technology Support Specialist supports personal computers, iPads, peripherals, software, and network connectivity; works across multiple school sites to promote effective use of technology by students, administration, and staff; may serve as project manager or active partner on technology-related projects; handles incident tickets, equipment relocation, and client communications; maintains inventory/asset management; participates in student-led help desks; ensures quality through checks and adherence to policies; requires collaboration with teachers, administrators, and classified staff; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and technical certifications preferred; valid Virginia driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or combination of education, technical certifications, and related work experience
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10 client environment, MAC and Apple iOS
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills quickly and solve/address complex technical problems
- Possession of or eligibility for various brand relevant certifications; A+ and hardware/software vendor certifications preferred
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
