Job Summary
Technology Support Lead in Production Management Core Payments Technology leads the operational stability, availability, and performance of production services, overseeing day-to-day maintenance, incident detection and resolution, and communication with business and technology stakeholders. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting in a real-time payment processing environment, strong cross-language proficiency (English and Korean), experience with large-scale on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and expertise in observability tools and ITIL-aligned processes. Core responsibilities include end-to-end service delivery, monitoring for anomalies, escalation when needed, and driving incident/problem/change management across full stack systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, with specific domain exposure to Korean foreign banks and clearing domains (HOFINET, HOFIBOK, IFT, ENotes, CMS, RPR, GIRO).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Proven strong track record as a production support role for a real-time payment processing with hands-on involvement in foreign banks in Korea, especially in the clearing domain, such as HOFINET, HOFIBOK, IFT, ENotes, CMS, RPR, and GIRO
- Strong proficiency in English and Korean (written and spoken), and required to work in Korea
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Exposure to processes in scope of the ITIL framework
- Technical Skillset: Unix / Linux technologies, Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Oracle / SQL, Cassandra
- Monitoring, telemetry/ Observability tools (ITRS Geneos/ Grafana/ Datadog/ Dynatrace/Splunk)
- Messaging frameworks, Kafka, MQ
