Job Summary
Technology Support Lead for Cash Equities Production Management in APAC, responsible for senior-level production stability, availability, and performance of Cash Equities production services. Leads end-to-end production support for front and middle office applications, drives incident and crisis management, champions SRE/DevOps practices, partners with Development and Business stakeholders, defines capacity and reliability metrics, enhances observability, and guides post-mortems and problem management. Requires strong SQL/DB skills, Linux/Unix scripting, familiarity with monitoring tools (ITIL-aligned processes), disaster recovery experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Formal training and certification with at least 5+ years of experience in production support or technology operations within financial services.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience participating in disaster recovery testing and weekend release activities
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Problem Management workflows and metric-driven service improvement
- Experience enhancing monitoring and observability for trading applications, including metric design and dashboarding
- Exposure to automation and SRE initiatives (e.g., self-healing, release automation) that reduce manual tasks and improve production stability
- Working knowledge of one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python) and/or infrastructure automation in hybrid/on-prem and public cloud environments
- Strong leadership and ability to drive consensus among senior stakeholders
- ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management experience
- Experience with disaster recovery testing and DR event leadership (plus)
- Strong SQL and database skills (e.g., Oracle, Sybase) and scripting (Perl, Shell)
