Job Summary
Technology Support III in Securities Services Technology is responsible for ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of production application flows. The role troubleshoots, maintains, escalates, and resolves production service interruptions across internally and externally developed systems, supports day-to-day maintenance, and monitors production environments with tools such as Splunk and Geneos. It involves incident and problem management, communicating with business and technology stakeholders, and applying lessons learned to prevent outages. Required and preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 3+ years of IT experience, experience with telemetry/APM tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Geneos), and AWS/public cloud familiarity; programming/scripting skills (Python/Java) and strong communication abilities are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Experience using telemetry & application performance monitoring tools such as: Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, ITRS Geneos
- Managing production technology incidents to resolution, ensuring timely engagement, escalation and effective communication to business, technology and vendor partners
- A proven track record of running Incident & Problem Management calls for business impacting outages, performing post incident analysis, identifying & implementing preventative measures and lessons learned following outages
- Knowledge on Trade Life cycle, Position Management, Valuation, Asset Servicing
- Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting (Python/Java); Working understanding of public cloud; AWS experience & certification: EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Cloudwatch & DataDog; Expertise in Excel, Macro and PowerPoint
