Job Summary
Technology Support III in the APAC Payments Production Management team ensures operational stability, availability, and performance of production application flows within Corporate and Investment Banking Technology. Responsibilities include end-to-end service delivery, day-to-day maintenance for operational stability, monitoring production environments for anomalies, leading major incident bridges, owning post-incident reviews, assessing and implementing production changes with risk evaluation, reducing toil through automation and runbook improvements, and mentoring junior engineers to uplift operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications and infrastructure in large-scale technology environments, both on-premises and public cloud
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Exposure to ITIL framework
- Experience supporting real-time or low-latency production systems in 24x7 environments
- Primary support during business hours; after-hours on-call coverage on a rostered basis for critical incidents
- Working knowledge of clearing and settlement windows and scheme SLAs/cutoffs
- Preferred: programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Public cloud understanding
- Experience with Australia’s payments systems: NPP, BECS, and RBA RITS; ISO 20022 familiarity
- Participation in DR/BCP exercises and capacity/performance monitoring
