Job Summary
Technology Support III within the Equities Prime Financial Services Production Management team ensures operational stability, availability, and performance of applications in the Futures & Derivatives Clearing domain. Responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing the production environment, collaborating across Technology, Business, and Operations to resolve issues, driving automation to reduce manual tasks, and communicating with stakeholders. The role emphasizes proactive process improvements, exploration of emerging technologies, researching solutions, and applying expertise to implement changes. Required skills include Unix, SQL, scripting, Python, cloud exposure, AI for automation, and familiarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk), with knowledge of financial markets and trading systems being beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in technical support or similar roles, preferably in applications support
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse, global teams
- Advanced and demonstrable problem solving / analytical skills with a passion for technology
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time
- Proactive, adaptive, independent and self-managing with proven capability to lead a project initiative
- Effectively adapt to necessary changes in work requirements, roles and responsibilities
- Proficiency in Unix, SQL, Scripting, and Python
- Exposure to and/or support of cloud-based technology solutions
- Experience using AI for automating and streamlining daily tasks
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk
- Experience and/or understanding of financial markets and trading systems would be beneficial
