Job Summary
Technology Support II in Payments Technology Operations ensures operational stability and performance of production application flows. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, monitoring production environments with observability tools, incident and problem management, escalation and communication to business and tech stakeholders, identifying trends, and supporting changes across full stack technology systems. The role requires familiarity with ITIL processes, experience with payment/fintech systems, and tools such as SNOW, Remedy, Netcool, or Tivoli, plus exposure to Windows/macOS, AWS Cloud, and Splunk. Candidate should be prepared to cover weekends and public holidays. This posting is based in Dublin, Ireland, and is a full-time, mid-level technical position.
Required Qualifications
- Experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloud
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
- Proficiency in Payments, card scheme or fintech support
- Proficiency in alerting, monitoring and incident management tools such as SNOW, Remedy, Netcool or Tivoli
- Effective collaboration and communication to achieve goals and maintain excellence
- Good knowledge of Windows/MAC OS with the ability to carry out root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Provide weekend and bank/public holiday cover
