Job Summary
Technology Support II responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production application flows to ensure stability, availability, and performance. Tasks include analyzing and resolving production interruptions, monitoring environments with observability tools, assisting in escalation communications to stakeholders, managing ServiceNow production instances, installing/upgrading/managing APIs, applying ServiceNow best practices, collaborating with product owners and developers, troubleshooting complex code issues, automating and maintaining systems in a distributed enterprise environment, and participating in on-call rotations (including one weekend per month) to promote operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloud
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Familiarity with ITIL framework
- Experience in a production / application support engineering role
- Experience of production management monitoring tools – e.g. Splunk, Grafana, APICA, etc.
- Experience with web front end development frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, JQuery, etc.
- Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
