Job Summary
Manage day-to-day administration of LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure, including monitoring performance, availability, and capacity. Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting for incidents across routing, switching, and wireless domains, and execute standard and emergency network changes within SLA timelines. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper devices, manage wireless networks including RF optimization and roaming, and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues. Support deployment of new network devices, upgrades, and migrations while maintaining documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and collaborate with vendors and service management teams for issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Enterprise Network Operations
- Minimum 3 year(s) of experience
- 15 years full time education
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or equivalent
- 5–7 years of experience in enterprise network operations/support role
- Strong understanding of OSI/TCP-IP model
- Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP
- Switching technologies: VLAN, STP, VTP, trunking
- Cisco: Routing, Switching, Wireless, DNAC
- Juniper: JUNOS CLI, Routing, Switching
- Aruba: WLAN Controllers, Aruba Central, Access Points
- 802.11 protocols (a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
- RF fundamentals and troubleshooting
- AAA (RADIUS, TACACS), WLAN security
- Monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar
- Network automation basics (Python/Ansible)
