Job Summary
Assists end-to-end service delivery for core payments technology and associated infrastructure; maintains operational stability and availability; monitors production environments using observability tools; identifies issues for escalation and communicates solutions to business and technology stakeholders; analyzes incidents and trends to support incident, problem, and change management for full-stack technology systems and applications; requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science with 3+ years of IT services troubleshooting/maintenance experience; hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python), Oracle/SQL, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, ITRS Geneos); familiarity with ITIL processes and cloud concepts (public cloud, AWS is a plus); banking payments regulatory reporting domain experience and strong collaboration across geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Technical Skillset: Unix / Linux technologies, Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Oracle / SQL, Cassandra
- Monitoring, telemetry/ Observability tools (ITRS Geneos/ Grafana/ Datadog/ Dynatrace/Splunk)
- Messaging frameworks, Kafka, MQ
- Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Working understanding of public cloud, AWS Certification is a plus.
- Experience working in banking payment regulatory reporting domain: High and low value payment, SWIFT, Real time payment, collection, cheque clearing, tax payment, partner bank system
- Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies.
- Adaptable and able to multi-task, handling complex requirements.
- Proficiency in local language verbal and written communication.
- China payments platform(CIPS, CNAPS, Multibank, EPCC, TIPS and etc) and regulatory report knowledge.
