Job Summary
Technology Strategy Manager at Optiver focused on shaping the firm's technology strategy with senior tech leadership. Responsibilities include driving company-wide tech strategy initiatives from framing to executive decision, designing org structures for scaling engineering, guiding AI adoption across tech teams, preparing board and executive materials, and leading cross-functional problem-solving with senior engineers, traders, and tech leaders. Key skills include analytical and data-driven thinking, strategic/conceptual aptitude, comfort with ambiguity, clear and concise communication, and experience in management consulting, technology, or trading with 5+ years in fast-moving environments. The role involves collaboration with the Tech COO, CTO Office leads, and various tech functions (PMO, Risk, Finance, Talent, Innovation) and offers relocation packages and visa sponsorship where needed for expats.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-moving environment (e.g., Tier 1 consulting, investment banking, leading PE firms)
- Experience in management consulting, technology or trading
- Ability to partner with senior tech leadership and communicate effectively across written, verbal, and boardroom settings
- Experience supporting executive-level materials and cross-functional problem-solving with engineers, traders, and tech leads
