Job Summary
Direct instruction of Technology/STEM to PreK-12 students within the READS Academy Program, including teaching the Work Based Learning Technology Employability Skills track for grades 9-12 (two blocks daily) with internal internship positions and monthly in-person consultation at West Bridgewater High School. Requires strong organizational and classroom-management skills, effective communication, and the ability to supervise support personnel. Preferred experience with classroom technology integration, zSpace, 3-D printing, programming and robotics, and experience supporting students with social/emotional and behavioral challenges. Willingness to attend Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training. Position is in-person and available immediately; pay range $60,147 to $100,721 per year. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Technology Teacher or Special Education Teacher with background in technology or vocational teacher with technology focus
- DESE Licensure in related field or eligible for waiver
- Crisis Prevention Institute: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required
- Experience with integrating technology in classroom instruction; willingness to be trained on zSpace; knowledge of 3-D printing; experience with programming/robotics preferred
- experience working with students with disabilities including social, emotional, learning, behavioral challenges preferred
