Job Summary
Technology Sr. Manager, EMEA Commercial (IT) leads the IT strategy and delivery for DePuy Synthes across the EMEA region, partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance to enable revenue growth and customer engagement. Responsible for delivery and optimization of commercial platforms (CRM, analytics, pricing, trade, and customer engagement), managing a portfolio of IT projects, developing internal teams and external partners, and ensuring cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Plays a key regional governance role, driving continuous improvement, and shaping the future commercial IT landscape with a focus on scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s/MBA preferred), 8-10 years of IT experience with leadership, strong stakeholder management, experience in regulated environments, and ability to travel up to 20–30% across the EMEA region. Fluency in English; additional European languages preferred. This role is based in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland with a hybrid work arrangement and up to 20–30% travel across EMEA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 8-10 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale IT solutions in a regional or global environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development
- Solid understanding of data, analytics, and digital technologies supporting commercial excellence
- Experience operating in regulated environments with strong compliance and security requirements
- Preferred: experience in MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences commercial organizations
- Exposure to EMEA regional business models and market dynamics
- Experience leading transformation or separation initiatives
- Familiarity with agile delivery methods and modern product-centric IT operating models
- Fluency in English; additional European languages preferred
- Travel: Up to 20–30% regional travel across EMEA
- IT leadership, cloud, or PM certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile) preferred
