Technology Specialist - Part-Time

Technology Specialist role in Academy-Framingham (Part-Time, 20 hours/week) focused on leading and maintaining high-quality technology integration across teaching and learning to support teachers, improve student performance, and foster digital literacy and computer science instruction. Responsibilities include modeling effective instructional strategies using technology in a co-teaching environment, providing support for current technology, coordinating with school personnel on technology resources, designing technology-based instructional strategies using data, researching newer instructional technologies, developing and reviewing instructional technology practices (podcast, blogs, Skype, Apps, Google Classroom, etc.), collaborating with Agency IT resources to recommend hardware/software, facilitating technology-focused professional learning for staff, training identified staff in technology resources, assisting teachers in selecting technology aligned to academic standards, delivering viable curriculum for diverse learners, responding to technology-related inquiries, overseeing projects for compliance, writing monthly reports on instructional technology integration, and coordinating with broader IT/Social Media staff as needed. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's in Education and at least 1+ year of experience in an academic setting, with licensure in Instructional Technology or equivalent work experience. The role requires in-person work at Framingham, MA with a 220-day/12-month academic setting.
