Job Summary
Technology Solutions Representative to drive adoption and sales of Caterpillar technology solutions across Construction Industries customers; acts as the go-to expert for Caterpillar technology, delivering demonstrations, jobsite evaluations, and data-driven recommendations to improve productivity, safety, and ROI. Responsibilities include owning the technology sales cycle from opportunity identification to close, implementing and onboarding technology systems post-sale, training customers on system usage and best practices, analyzing equipment and productivity data to optimize performance, coordinating with service teams, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and product updates. Requires consultative sales acumen, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work in both field and customer-facing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven success in sales, technical support, or construction equipment industry
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment applications or jobsite operations
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for customers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working in both field and customer-facing environments
- Proficiency with technology platforms, data, and reporting tools
