Job Summary
Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting basis of design documents, information from Senior and Project designers, user inputs, field surveys, and code research. Coordinate building systems spatial requirements and collaborate with users and other consultants to finalize technology service plans. This role requires proficiency in Revit MEP and knowledge of NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards. Candidates should have 1+ years of experience in building systems design, including technology and low voltage electrical systems, with skills in Revit Family Development and electrical infrastructure. The position is located in the Madison office and offers a flexible, collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience or training in building systems design - technology/low voltage electrical systems
- Proficiency in Revit MEP
- Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination
- Knowledge of NEC, TIA, BICSI standards
Desired Qualifications
- Revit Family Development
- Experience with Electrical and/or Building Technology Systems infrastructure
- Experience with or willingness to learn Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies
- Experience with or willingness to learn Physical Security Systems (access control and security video)
- Experience with or willingness to learn Audio Visual Systems
- Experience with or willingness to learn Information Technology Network infrastructure (switches, servers, wireless) and security
