Job Summary
Technology Service and Training Coordinator at The Episcopal School of Dallas. Responsible for ensuring high-level technology service to the school community, serving as the first point of contact for the Technology Office, managing the technology service desk, ensuring timely ticket handling and resolution, maintaining classroom and staff technology, setting up technology for meetings/events, maintaining documentation, and running a staff technology training program. Responsibilities include proactively coordinating the service desk, building relationships with faculty and staff, ensuring tickets have initial responses and are resolved promptly, monitoring the ticketing system across learning spaces, identifying patterns indicating cybersecurity issues or process improvements, coordinating with the Technology Operations Coordinator to staff the desk between 7:30am–4pm on school days, validating and installing software outside the standard suite, assisting with software tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.), providing technology setups for meetings, assisting with data backups and phones/voicemail, escalating issues, maintaining equipment inventories, supporting Educational Technology platforms and LMS/rostering services, assisting students with network/software questions, acting as EdTech coach for faculty, documenting processes and guides, delivering technology training to faculty and staff, onboarding/training new faculty and staff, and participating in abuse risk management and safety procedures.
