Technology Scheduler - Federal Sector

Job Summary

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for enterprise technology implementation projects. Coordinate scheduling activities across project managers, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure milestones and deliverables remain on track. Monitor progress, critical path activities, and dependencies while preparing executive dashboards, forecasting reports, and performance metrics. Identify schedule risks and resource constraints to recommend mitigation strategies, supporting planning, execution, testing, and deployment activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align schedules with business objectives and technical deliverables, maintaining documentation and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or project coordination supporting technology, software implementation, or enterprise system projects
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across multiple workstreams
  • Experience supporting cloud-based software implementations, enterprise applications, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Understanding of project scheduling principles, critical path methodology (CPM), schedule forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data migration, system implementation, or technology deployment projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with federal government or large enterprise technology environments is preferred
