Technology Risk Analyst

Job Summary
Maintain Enterprise Technology risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers while gathering updates from technology, security, and assurance teams. Prepare risk reporting, dashboards, and meeting materials for the Technology Risk Lead, and support basic analysis to identify overdue actions and ownership gaps. Manage technology governing artefacts such as policies and frameworks by tracking ownership, review cycles, and publication readiness, then coordinate follow-ups with subject matter experts. Ensure documentation quality, version control, and repository housekeeping for all risk and governance materials, assisting with evidence gathering for assurance or audit activities. Utilize M365, workflow tools, and AI-enabled productivity tools to reduce manual effort and improve consistency within the Risk & Strategy team. This hybrid role supports the modernization of WPP's operating model through automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
Required Qualifications
- A grounding in risk, governance, compliance, audit, cyber security or a related area
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow through on actions and deadlines
- Ability to work with structured information such as registers, trackers, documentation inventories and reporting packs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to summarise information clearly and professionally
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to ask clear questions to clarify ownership, status or next steps
- A proactive, collaborative and learning-oriented mindset
