Job Summary
Senior hands-on Technology Resiliency Architect responsible for embedding resiliency by design across the enterprise technology landscape, including on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and SaaS. Leads development, governance, and implementation of enterprise resiliency architecture standards; serves on Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to translate resilience strategy into practical guidance via Resiliency Implementation Guidelines (RIGs). Drives hybrid-architecture patterns, DR/PIoTR/failover capabilities, automation (IaC), recovery testing, and regulatory alignment; collaborates with governance, risk teams, and BU technology groups to ensure resilient designs and audit-ready evidence. Provides hands-on architecture support for critical applications, defines reusable blueprints, and champions a resiliency-first culture across the organization. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise, infrastructure, or solution architecture
- Experience designing resilient hybrid architectures at large enterprise scale
- Experience supporting architecture governance frameworks and ARB processes
- Financial services or highly regulated industry experience preferred
- Infrastructure & Platforms data center infrastructure and storage/compute resiliency patterns
- Server virtualization platforms (VMware / private cloud)
- Network resiliency and redundancy architectures
- Cloud Architecture—AWS, Azure, GCP
- Hybrid and multi-region cloud architectures
- Cloud DR strategies and automated failover patterns
- Recovery & Continuity—Disaster Recovery architecture and backup/restore
- Database recovery, replication, and PiTR implementations
- Messaging resiliency—Kafka, MQ, Solace
- Architecture Governance—ARB and standards development
- Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent)
- SRE and reliability engineering frameworks
- Observability and monitoring platforms
- Cyber recovery and isolated recovery architectures
