Technology Quality Technician

Job Summary

Conduct visual, physical, and mechanical inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products using precision equipment like calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. Interpret engineering drawings to verify product conformance, document results in the quality database, and identify nonconforming items for root cause investigations. Perform manufacturing and engineering tests, maintain calibrated equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in safety reviews and assist with training new team members. This 1st shift role (M-F 8am-5pm) supports a global energy technology leader focused on digital innovation and sustainable practices within the oil and gas industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical inspection experience with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and determine inspection requirements
  • Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and inspection gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Schedule: 1st Shift - M-F 8am-5pm

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with CMM programming and operation
  • Experience using SAP
  • Machining or machine shop background
  • Experience with calibration processes and quality management systems
