Technology Quality Technician

Job Summary

Conduct visual, physical, and mechanical inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products using precision equipment like calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. Interpret engineering drawings to verify product conformance and accurately document results in the quality database. Identify nonconforming items, support root cause investigations, and perform manufacturing tests while ensuring equipment calibration and safety compliance. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training new team members. Maintain adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations. This 1st shift, M-F role supports quality control operations for a global energy technology leader focused on digital innovation and sustainable practices in the oil and gas industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical inspection experience with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and determine inspection requirements
  • Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and inspection gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Schedule: 1st Shift - M-F 8am-5pm

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with CMM programming and operation
  • Experience using SAP
  • Machining or machine shop background
  • Experience with calibration processes and quality management systems
