Job Summary
Monitor the trading system to identify and resolve issues, diagnosing complex problems to keep trading online. Manage daily changes and communicate statuses to the company while automating software distribution and deployments for Linux and Windows applications. Build new tools to manage the system, reduce effort and errors, and work with the risk team and trading desks to facilitate trading requirements. Requires a rotating schedule between US and Asia shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience supporting, administering, or developing on Linux-based environments
- Strong proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Working knowledge of basic scripting experience, preferably with Python
- Experience using distributed version control systems
- Understanding of configuration management tools such as Salt, Puppet, or Chef
- Exposure to infrastructure and application monitoring tools, including Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience working with JIRA or similar ticketing and workflow management systems
- Knowledge of log aggregation, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Must be open to working a rotating schedule between US and Asia shifts
