Job Summary
Lead end-to-end management of strategic IT vendors, including onboarding, performance management, renewals, and exits to ensure reliable and cost-effective technology services across DePuy Synthes. Establish and govern vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews; partner with IT service owners, sourcing, procurement, finance, and legal to align vendor strategies with roadmaps; identify and mitigate vendor-related risks (operational, financial, cybersecurity, regulatory); support contract negotiations to optimize cost, value, and service outcomes; drive standardization of vendor management processes and reporting; lead and develop the vendor management team; provide executive-level insights and reporting on vendor performance, risks, and financials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred)
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in IT, vendor management, sourcing, or technology services
- Proven experience managing strategic IT vendors in a global or matrixed enterprise
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery models (managed services, cloud, infrastructure, application services)
- Experience with IT service management frameworks and performance reporting (ITSM, SLAs, KPIs)
- Ability to assess vendor technology capabilities, security posture, and operational resilience
- Strong commercial acumen with contract negotiations and cost optimization
- Demonstrated people leadership experience and stakeholder management
- Preferred: experience in healthcare/medical devices or life sciences
