Job Summary
Technology M&A Analyst Intern based in Paris for a six-month internship starting January or March 2027. Responsibilities include preparation of investment memoranda and presentations (industry study, strategic review, financial analysis), business plan modeling, due diligence management, supporting commercial and marketing efforts, preparation of commercial pitches, identification of new prospects, and contributing to sectoral research and marketing initiatives. Requirements include a strong academic background (Bachelor or Masters), international exposure, analytical and commercial thinking, finance proficiency, prior M&A exposure at banks/PE/VC, and fluency in French and English (German or Spanish a plus). Offices in Paris, Berlin, Munich, and New York; outstanding performance may lead to a permanent position depending on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- You have a strong academical background with a Bachelor or Masters degree and ideally gained first international experience
- You are an entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills and finance proficiency
- You have prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital funds and you are interested in technology based transactions
- You can handle pressure and work under tight deadlines, you are curious and analytical, you are a team player and like exposure to senior management
- Written and spoken proficiency in French and English is a must, German or Spanish a plus
