Job Summary
Technology Legal - Vice President role focusing on cybersecurity, information security, and global security within JPMorganChase's Legal Department. Draft and negotiate cybersecurity and information security terms in supplier and client contracts; advise on cybersecurity incident response, crisis management, and regulatory engagement; provide day-to-day legal guidance to cybersecurity, technology controls, and global security teams; support senior management and outside counsel with independent, strategic legal advice across multiple jurisdictions. Requires JD, minimum five years post-admission experience, strong negotiation and regulatory experience, and ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Located in London, UK.
Required Qualifications
- JD degree and compliance with all relevant licensing requirements for the jurisdiction of employment
- Minimum of five years post-admission legal practicing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, complex financial products and services
- Ability to assume significant independent responsibility immediately
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational and project management abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable legal advice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior executives
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and colleague relationships
- Successful completion of a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to employment
- Experience advising on cybersecurity, information security, and global security matters
