Technology Legal Senior Counsel

Job Summary
Senior Technology Counsel will structure, draft, and negotiate technology and outsourcing agreements across SaaS, software, hardware, maintenance, reseller, professional services, market data, platform, AI, data use, and cloud services. Manage end-to-end negotiations with internal stakeholders, support investments and acquisitions through due diligence focusing on IP, controls, privacy, and technology, and build cross-functional teams to address novel tech issues in financial services. Provide clear legal guidance to both legal and non-legal professionals, including senior executives, while managing multiple complex matters in a global matrix organization and fostering strong internal partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree or educational equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or corporate law environment
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts for technology and outsourcing transactions with third-party providers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills
- Demonstrated business judgment and strategic thinking
- Proven ability to independently identify issues, analyze problems, and provide viable solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, handle deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a high-performance environment
- Ability to build consensus and collaborate across a global organization
- Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills
