Job Summary
Design and build secure applications and systems across Vanguard's technology environment while implementing security controls and best practices within software, platforms, and infrastructure. Identify and address vulnerabilities in applications and systems, then build tools, automations, or processes that improve security and operational efficiency. Partner with engineering, security, and platform teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions by applying Agile methodologies and secure software development practices. Take ownership of projects through technical capstones, hackathons, and hands-on projects that strengthen technical expertise and leadership capability. Collaborate across teams to drive solutions in a supportive environment while receiving personalized coaching and mentorship from department and program managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027
