Job Summary
Drive engineering standards and delivery across established teams by bringing together cross-functional specialists to build and run high-quality software. Lead technical planning, estimation, and release governance while overseeing development, managing defects, and reducing tech debt. Own service quality through performance monitoring and resilience improvements, ensuring teams operate with autonomy within strict governance frameworks. Manage demand intake and backlog prioritization to align delivery across complex initiatives involving .NET, Java, AWS, and Python. Foster high-performing teams by embedding agile, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices while driving technical efficiency and cloud spend controls.
Required Qualifications
- A technical background in roles such as engineering, architecture, DevOps, or automated testing
- Strong influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams without direct line management
- Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle – branching, code reviews, release governance, and change control
- Experience building software across different platforms and technologies
- Experience with build automation, deployment techniques, and production practices like observability and monitoring
- Deep technical knowledge and ability to lead meaningful conversations across engineering and architecture
- Familiarity with modern engineering practices including Agile, cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, and tooling like Bitbucket or GitHub
- Experience building strong relationships across senior stakeholders, product and delivery teams
- You thrive in ambiguity, bringing a mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability
