Job Summary
Structure, draft, and negotiate intellectual property and commercial transactions, including license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements. Manage the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary deals. This role targets lateral candidates with 3–6 years of attorney experience from large national firms who can help build and grow an established technology practice group. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a technical or science background beneficial. The position is based in Palo Alto, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Boston, or Washington, D.C., with a day shift Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- JD Education Required
- Minimum of 3 years IT with Large National Firm
- Maximum 6 years attorney experience
- Lateral candidates only
- Currently practicing in this same practice group
- Experience in intellectual property transactions
- Strong interest in a career focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Preference for position to be filled in Palo Alto, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Boston, or Washington, D.C.
