Job Summary
Technology Intern opportunity for college students in IT/IS seeking hands-on experience in a secure financial services environment. Responsibilities include assisting with maintaining and supporting computer systems, applications, hardware, and network components; reviewing access controls, documentation, policies, and compliance; monitoring system performance, security alerts, and service tickets; documenting procedures and security processes; participating in special projects and technology initiatives; and upholding confidentiality and security standards. Qualifications require pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field at Texas A&M-Texarkana; strong communication, multitasking, and professional behavior; comfort with standard IT tools and environments; and alignment with the organization’s core values of Team-focused, Excellence, Authenticity, and Leading in Innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field at Texas A&M-Texarkana
- Competent computer skills and familiarity with standard office and technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Ability to follow the core values of Team-focused, Excellence, Authenticity, and Leading in Innovation.
