Job Summary
Design telecommunication structured cabling, physical security, surveillance, and audio/video systems using Revit and 3D modeling software. Prepare specifications for construction, manage project timelines via Smartsheet, and evaluate electrical and cooling requirements. Provide engineering information, maintain professional knowledge through workshops, and ensure client satisfaction by managing expectations. Required Qualifications
- Revit Design and Modeling
- BS in electrical engineering from an ABET Accredited college or university
- 5+ years relevant work experience, including internship or cooperative program experience
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD)
- Certified Technology Specialist or Designer (CTS/CTS-D)
- Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, Security, and Audio/Video Systems
- Experience in Autodesk AEC software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel (minimum))
- Understanding of IT Networking
- Proficiency in Smartsheet
- System Budgeting
