Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry-relevant Linux engineering experience
- Strong ownership and accountability for Linux server OS standards, security, currency, and long-term viability
- Ability to independently learn new technologies and drive adoption across enterprise
- Excellent written documentation skills (roadmaps, guides)
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and 10; Ubuntu Pro and Amazon Linux desirable
- Automation experience with Ansible; scripting in Bash
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS; knowledge of networking concepts and security controls
- Active Directory integration with Linux; Red Hat Satellite familiarity (preferred)
- Certifications not required but preferred; no sponsorship for visa indicated
