Technology Education Teacher - West Perry HighSchool

Technology Education Teacher at West Perry High School develops student understanding of industry and its place in our technological culture, focusing on woodworking, drafting, metalworking and engineering. Responsibilities include planning instruction aligned with the district curriculum, fostering safe use of tools and machines, maintaining an engaging classroom environment, providing progress reports, developing and revising curriculum, managing classroom behavior, collaborating with parents and staff, and evaluating student progress using multiple assessment methods. Requires excellent oral and written communication, strong subject-matter knowledge, and proficiency with computer/software tools and general office skills. Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field and a valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate.
