Job Summary
Full Stack Engineer – AVP responsible for end-to-end development on iCapital's Post-Investment Technology platforms. Role involves building web applications with TypeScript front-end and Python back-end, participating in architecture reviews, mentoring junior engineers, engaging in SDLC and code reviews, collaborating with Product Management, and contributing to daily stand-ups. Requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, 5+ years Python, 5+ years TypeScript, cloud experience (Kubernetes and AWS), and strong communication and collaboration skills. Hybrid work arrangement with office in Salt Lake City, UT (Mon-Thu in-office, remote Fri).
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions
- 5+ years of Python development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Technical leadership and management experience is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices
- Familiar with cloud-based technologies (i.e. Kubernetes and AWS)
- Able to work in an Agile or Kanban methodology
- Able to work independently or as part of a group effort, as required
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative approach to software development
