Job Summary
Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Oversight Advisor responsible for delivering second-line data and technology risk management services. Independently evaluate and guide governance, data quality, lineage, MDM, records retention, and related data management practices enterprise-wide. Advise line leadership on data and technology operational risk, escalate through governance structures, and influence internal stakeholders. Lead analysis of the risk management framework, identify gaps, and ensure remediation activities. Utilize frameworks such as DCAM, DMBoK, NIST, FFIEC AIO, and ITIL to provide guidance and build trusted partnerships. Prepare and present detailed management reports; actively participate in risk committees; act as liaison to business units; oversee Data and Technology risk activities including RCSAs, remediation plans, and closure validation. Identify emerging risks and drive risk assessment and mitigation across new products/services/markets/channels. Maintain compliance with risk controls, regulatory standards, and organizational risk appetite. Facilitate communication of concerns to senior management and contribute to a culture of belonging and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in technology, cybersecurity, risk, audit, compliance, or other relevant function OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience
