Job Summary
Senior Technology Business Consultant leads the technical aspects of Asset Finance leasing software projects, mentors junior team members, and serves as a liaison between clients and consultants. Responsible for researching and documenting client needs, defining product scope, objectives, requirements, and data models for development and testing; preparing detailed specifications; analyzing industry trends and vendor products; improving processes to solve complex technical issues; recommending technology solutions, developing test plans, and conducting system, integration, and acceptance testing. Influences client priorities and vendor selections, provides direct consultation (including travel), and leads the technical delivery of projects while mentoring junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field
- five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- experience with Leasing software and application development
- proficiency with SQL, C++, and COBOL
- experience with business process mapping, agile and waterfall
- experience across Software Life Cycle from design to delivery
- experience with client daily interaction
- ability to travel as needed
- telecommuting/work-from-home permissibility per company policies
