Job Summary
Technology Analyst at Saline Area Schools provides and supports information technology services district-wide. Responsible for end-user IT support (help desk), monitoring and operating computer hardware, software, and diagnostic tools, performing installation and maintenance of operating systems and applications, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues. Coordinates online testing, manages multiple projects, and collaborates with IT, building, and district staff. May require occasional nights and weekends for maintenance; travel between district buildings may be needed. Must communicate effectively with students and staff, train users on new/existing software, and maintain records of equipment and repairs. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, documented hardware/software training (Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, etc.), and significant related experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Salary starts at $48,334 per year. FLSA: Exempt; Terms of Employment: 12-month unaffiliated employee; Location: Saline, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Documented training in computer hardware and/or software (Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, etc.)
- Related college or technical school coursework (preferred)
- Significant successful related experience in computer and network installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software installation procedures
- Understanding of current operating platforms, computer hardware, and associated peripherals, and software applications
