Job Summary
Imaging role performing ultrasound procedures per radiology standards to aid diagnosis/treatment; duties include selecting appropriate ultrasound technique, developing and implementing procedure/treatment plans, documenting per hospital policies, maintaining equipment/work areas, and participating in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care aligns with standards.
Required Qualifications
- Recent experience as a Ultrasound Technologist.
- Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist RVT or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry. Proof of registry (by primary source) must be available within 120 calendar days of graduation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
