Technologist (Shift C)

Examine, diagnose and correct operational problems related to equipment in the process of manufacturing and plant building areas. Validate projects to improve efficiency of production machines. Work in Shift 3 with weekends as required; full-time position. Develop modification of components for manufacturing machines; review specifications of blueprints for mechanical and electrical components; understand logical sequences of programmable controllers. On new automated machines, troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems; install new machines and ensure proper operation per quality and manufacturing procedures. Perform maintenance and repair of equipment using testing equipment and manuals; support production lines to keep machines in excellent condition. Disassemble equipment, disconnect controls, remove defective parts for repair or substitution, and perform preventive maintenance per standards. Complete validation execution on new or existing machines; document changes (mechanical/electrical blueprints); provide training to machine operators and technicians. Document process parameters, lots, production quantities, and other required information. Conduct EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects, analyze incidents, and take corrective actions. Travel as required; adapt to irregular hours; work with minimal supervision; maintain good interpersonal communication. Proficiency in English; able to read, write, speak, and understand.
