Job Summary
The Technologist-Radiology Student performs imaging procedures and treatments per radiology standards to aid diagnosis and treatment, using appropriate techniques and positioning. Duties include developing and implementing procedure plans, following hospital protocols, maintaining complete documentation, keeping equipment and rooms clean and safe, and participating in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care aligns with standards. Requires enrollment in a radiology program and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, plus basic computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date
- Basic computer literacy skills
