Job Summary
Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians, selecting appropriate techniques and settings, developing treatment plans, and adhering to hospital protocols. Maintains equipment and facility condition, documents per policies, and participates in department performance improvement with quality data collection. Requires ARRT(R) radiography registry and BLS; state licensure as required; an associate degree in radiography is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program; ARRT(R) registration current or in process for new graduates waiting to take registry; BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; State license as required.
