Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Develops and implements procedure plans, uses appropriate techniques and positioning, completes required documentation, maintains equipment and work areas for safety, and participates in hospital performance-improvement activities to ensure patient care aligns with standards. Requires NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (or new graduate awaiting registry) and BLS within specified timelines; strong emphasis on imaging expertise, procedure planning, documentation, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- NMTCB certification or ARRT(N) certification, or new graduate waiting to take registry
- Proof of registry available within 60 days of graduation
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Basic computer literacy
